TAVARES-FL Mr. Will Morgan is the new Upper School math teacher here at Liberty Christian Prep. He was hired because of his teaching background. “He's doing great. He's evaluating where kids are and how they’re doing and he is working on a plan to catch up students who are behind,” said Headmaster Mr. Jeremy Thomas.” “I decided to work here so that I could be more involved in the kingdom of God as opposed to simply teaching math,” said Morgan. Morgan went to the University of Florida and previously taught at South Lake High School and at Leesburg High. Morgan also said this about his brief time here so far,“I really like the pledges and the fact that everyone is willing to stand up and do them. At my previous school no one would even stand for the American flag, which is the only one we would even do, so seeing these kids do three very important pledges is one of my favorite things so far.”

The students of LCP are grateful for Morgan. “He’s very good at getting across what he’s teaching. If I'm ever stuck, he’s very good at helping me understand it,” said freshman, Abhijith Rajeev.

Morgan is also planning on doing tutoring for students who are behind in math. “I’ve been tutoring math for over 20 years and... I won a national math competition.”  Thomas and the students at LCP are grateful for the skills Morgan brings to LCP.
