TAVARES- August 12th, 2019 was the first day of school at Liberty Christian Prep. LCP got many new students as well as returning students. Each of these students had their own experiences on the first day of school.

The first day of school can be nerve racking for some people. “I was kind of nervous, but also really excited,” said second grader, Madeline White. For some people the first day of school can be fun and exciting. “My first day of school was nice because I actually had fun,” said fifth grader, Shelbie Barnhouse.

After spending three months away from school and friends some students were excited to be back with their friends. “It was really amazing getting to see my friends again,” said fourth grader, Alondra Bloom . Some were also happy to make new friends. “I was a little nervous about meeting all my new friends,” said third grader Nicholas Roberts.

Everyone has expectations for the first day of school. “Most first days turn out the same,” said senior,  Alex Castaneda. Some students did not know what to expect at all. “I didn't really have any expectations because I was home schooled,” said junior, Anastasia Elrod.

The first day of school at LCP was a good experience for students of all grades. Even though some were nervous, it turned out to be a great experience.
