LCP welcomes our newest addition to Liberty sports, Varsity Boys Football!! On August 18th Liberty Lions Football team played Classical Academy and lost with a score of 6 to 54. August 25th Liberty Lions had their first home game and played against Countryside. While they lost with a score of 40 to 6, they played a game to remember. LCP students, faculty, and parents roared with joy as Quarterback Luke Watts made the first touchdown of the night, bringing everyone out of their seats. They played two games after this, one on September 1st against Lake Mary Prep and lost with a score of 0 to 50. However, the Liberty Lions Varsity Football team had their first win of the season against Oasis Christian, with a score of 30 to 16!! We are thrilled with the new addition of football, and can’t wait to see what this new season brings about. Go Liberty Lions!!
