Liberty Christian Prep held the first games of the 2021-2022 basketball season on Friday, November 12th. The first game was JV boys vs. Reborn Christian. The JV team fought hard but was ultimately defeated. The ending score of the game was 38-60.
Soon after the JV game, the homecoming court was announced and concluded with crowning Queen Somer Elrod and King Sujes Williams.
The Varsity game soon commenced kicking off the Men’s Varsity season vs. Reborn Christian. The Lions came out with some heat finishing the first quarter with a total of 25-0 with the Lion lead. The men did not take the foot off of the gas and the game was quickly a blowout win. With Sujes Williams scoring a total of 32 points and Grant Thomas with a total of 26. The team meshed very well and gave the crowd a great game to watch. The entire game LCP had the lead and with the final score of 74-30 with LCP taking the first victory of the so-far undefeated season.
