On Friday, May 23rd, Liberty Christian Prep celebrated the graduation of three kindergarten classes.
Principal Kelli Shepherd opened the morning with a prayer and welcomed the kindergarten teachers to the stage.
Each student was honored with a special award presented by their teacher, and the Head of School, Mr. Jeremy Thomas proudly shook their hands as they crossed the stage.
Mr. Thomas closed the ceremony with a powerful reminder, “These are not just little boys and girls, they are the future of our world.” Congrats kindergarten graduates. . . first grade awaits!
This week, we celebrated the retirement of one of our kindest behind-the-scenes heroes, Mrs. Becky Manos.
For the past three years, Mrs. Becky has served faithfully as our Aftercare Receptionist and Car Line Organizer. Known for her warm smile, gentle spirit, and servant’s heart, she became a steady presence that both students and families came to love and trust.
Even on days without aftercare, Mrs. Becky would volunteer her time to help with the car line, a small act that spoke volumes about her character. Her quiet consistency and willingness to serve made a lasting impact.
Thank you, Mrs. Becky, for everything. You will be deeply missed, and your legacy of kindness will remain in the heart of Liberty Christian Prep.
Over the past few weeks, our students have been hands-on with their own programmable robots, learning how to build, troubleshoot, and code them from the ground up.
These Zumi robots challenged students with intricate assembly and real-time problem-solving. Through this experience, students explored circuitry, functionality, and the fundamentals of how robots operate in the real world.

LCP is all about family! The older students love pouring into the younger students. Spanish 2 classes recently spent time reading Spanish books to 1st grade.
It has been a busy spring at LCP. In addition to our upper elementary musical last week, the K-2 students presented "I Raise a Hallelujah" to parents and grandparents at the end of April. Great job lower elementary!

National Reading Month has come to a close . . . to celebrate all of the great books that were read in the month of March, Mrs. Blythe organized a book character parade. Many kindergarten-6th grade students and staff participated dressed as their favorite book character! #LCPLIONS
