“Today was good. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one.” - On Wednesday students dressed in their wackiest clothes and showed their silly sides. Uneven hair, mismatched socks, and hot dogs were seen all across campus. LCP added its touch of character to this year’s Read Across America celebration.

LCP hosted its annual Open House and Showcase on Friday. LCP families and friends learned all about the school's rapid growth and met welcoming faculty members. Artwork and projects were displayed to show the student body's talent and drive to learn. Last Friday offered just a glimpse into the hard work of LCP's students and staff.

Today marks the 100th day of school! Elementary students celebrated the occasion by dressing up as elders. Hallways throughout the school were adorned with festive decorations, and 7th-12th grader students enjoyed a lunch on the lawn. Happy 100th Day LCP!

5 of 5: Friday marked a new tradition: Christmas at LCP! The day began with Mr. Thomas hosting a "Name that Tune" contest for the staff, with Mrs. Mang winning as caller #3. The students completed their decorations for their classroom doors, and the winner was decided: Coach Shepherd’s gingerbread themed classroom door made by the freshman class! Additionally, many classes held parties in their classrooms exchanging gifts, and eating yummy treats. The lunchroom was festive with Christmas jazz playing. The day ended with a fun staff game of "Do you have a peppermint?" Mr. and Mrs. Shepherd, Mrs. Clemence, Mrs. Nicholas, and Coach Krueger were the lucky winners! Friday brought a bit of Christmas fun and relaxation for 7th-12th graders before finals week begins, and many fun memories for all of the LCP students and staff.
