LCP has added a new administrative role of Principal, and we are excited to welcome Mrs. Kelli Shepherd into that role!
Mrs. Shepherd has been serving at LCP since 2021, first as a science teacher and then as the Dean of Students. Head of School, Mr. Jeremy Thomas, is thrilled to add this new position designed to support instruction and the entire LCP community. Mr. Thomas said, “With Mrs. Shepherd’s heart, experience and education, she is well-equipped to help lead our school. I’m grateful to serve with such a great, fellow educator.”

Last week, the 3-6th grade elementary choir, along with the 5-12th grade drama club, put on an adorable musical highlighting Jesus's birth with a creative twist. "Arrest These Merry Gentlemen," was about Jesus's birth, seen through the eyes of a law enforcer, whose job was to keep the peace. These students did an incredible job putting on this charming musical, and being a light for Christ in our community. A huge thank you to Mrs. Bickhart for doing an amazing job of leading this production!

LCP is still reflecting on the Thanksgiving season. Our God is so good and we are thankful for each of our students, staff members, and their families. In November, preschool families volunteered time to help our littlest Lions make headbands, placemats, and special snacks.

Students in Mrs Payne's tech classes have been exploring technology in alternate ways. 7th graders retold Bible story using stop motion video software and Legos, while 8th graders created math review games using bluetooth technology and Splats.
